What is the problem if the cutting deck is not giving an even cut?

First, check the tyre pressures. For garden tractors, it should be 1 bar (100 kPa) in the front tyres and 0.8 bar (80 kPa) in the rear tyres. If the tyre pressures are uneven, the garden tractor will tilt towards the low-pressure side.

If this doesn’t solve the problem, check that the cutting deck is adjusted to the same height on both sides. The operating instructions tell you how to check this.

Another cause of uneven cutting is bent blades, as one side would be cut too low. Bent blades should be replaced immediately, as they can damage the blade spindle.

If the problem persists, we recommend you contact your local dealer. A list of dealers is available under Service Locator above.
